Wastes treatment plant :
addition to defacing the landscape, traditional dumping sites for untreated
municipal solid waste pose a potential health hazard, not only in the
immediate vicinity of the site, but also to the ground water. In the
search for new solution, city councils and communities worldwide are
studying the problem and providing for the necessary funding.
For the disposal of municipal solid waste a new concept has been developed BioThermal Process, where the putrescible fraction is treated through a biological process, biogasification. The combustible fraction of the refuse derived fuel is handled through a thermal procedure, a pyrolysis system.
